How do I go about purchasing your artwork online?
All of my artwork available for purchase can be found by shopping the categories on the left side of this page. Some pieces listed have already been sold, but that doesn't mean I can't make them again, if that's what your little heart desires. Visit the custom page for more information.
My work can also be found on Etsy, an online venue for handmade goods.
If I live nearby, can I save on shipping and pick up my order?
Absolutely! I am located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Feel free to get in touch so we can arrange a pick-up.
What methods of payment do you accept?
I accept Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover®, and bank transfers via PayPal. I also accept personal checks, money orders, and cold hard cash. If you are paying by check or money order, please note that your order will ship (or be available for pick-up) once the payment has cleared.
Do you charge sales tax?
Not unless you live in Texas! Texas residents are required to pay an additional 8.25% for sales tax. Tough luck, cowboys & cowgirls.
How do you ship your goods?
I ship everything insured via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Other shipping couriers are available by request, as is expedited delivery.
Do you ship worldwide?
Indeed I do. At this time all items on my website have a flat-rate for shipping. If you are hoping to have your item(s) shipped outside the USA, you may either contact me prior to ordering or I can send you a separate invoice afterward for any additional shipping charges.
I need faster shipping!
No problem. Shoot me an e-mail before you order and we'll work together to make sure you get your order by the time you need it.
Can you send me tracking info?
I do! If you pay via PayPal, an email will be sent to you immediately following shipment, which includes tracking information. If you do not pay with PayPal, I will email the tracking number to you personally (if available).
Help! I ordered something from you and it should have been here by now. What should I do?
Well, if you have a tracking number, try tracking it on the USPS website. Still no luck? Sit tight, holler at me, and we’ll figure out what’s going on.
I opened up the package and it looks like it was damaged in shipping. What now?
Oh no! Well, first thing to do would be let me know. If possible, take pictures of the damage and include them in your email to me. I will file a claim with the shipping courier and hopefully get reimbursed for the damage. I will do everything I can to fix the problem, whether it’s repair the damage, issue a credit, or replace the item with a new one. We will work out the details on a case-by-case basis, so the main thing to remember is let me know as soon as possible. Claims for shipping damage must be made no later than 15 days after the delivery date to be covered under the return policy.
Where do I ship my return?
In the interest of personal privacy, I prefer not to publish my address online. In the event of a return, I will send it to you privately.
What if I just don’t want what I ordered anymore?
I’m sorry you feel that way! Unfortunately, you’re stuck with it. Unless the item was described incorrectly or there was some other error on my part, I do not allow returns for this reason.

What’s the easiest way to get a quote for a custom piece?
That would be by filling out the quote request form. This makes the custom ordering process a lot easier on both you and me!
I am interested in comissioning a mosaic piece. What are my color choices?
Lucky for you, I have access to a wide array of color options. Take a gander at my Color Menu for details about tile and color choices.
How long does it usually take you to complete a commissioned project?
Well, this question could take forever to answer thoroughly. Essentially, it all depends on the size and intricacy of the project. As a basic rule of thumb, expect 1-2 months for small projects, 3-4 months for medium-sized projects, and up to 6 months for large projects. If you are in a hurry, a “rush upgrade” is available for an additional fee.
Are you interested in doing commercial artwork, large in-home projects, cooperative endeavors, or wholesale?
Maybe! It all depends on what my schedule allows. By all means, contact me with the juicy details.

Why are your mosaics so darn expensive?
Gasp! In fact, my mosaics are very fairly priced. Each one goes through a long process, including: designing the piece, cutting the wood and sanding, trimming each glass tile to fit the piece perfectly, gluing each tile individually, grouting the entire piece, painting any exposed wood to match, and affixing any necessary fixtures and/or hardware. After hours upon hours of work and a fairly hefty price tag on supplies, I still do all I can to keep my prices down. After all, we’re not millionaires!
Are mosaics easy to care for?
Pretty easy. The number one thing to remember is that all artwork is fragile to some degree. Read the mosaic care page for more detailed information.
Uh oh, I bought a mosaic from you a while back and it got damaged. What should I do?
Don’t panic! Feel free to contact me any time you have a problem with your moxiecupcake mosaic. Depending on the severity of the damage, I may be able to walk you through a home remedy. If not, and the mosaic is still able to be saved, I will probably ask that you mail it back to me for major surgery (fees may apply).
How can I be sure that the colors in your artwork will look the same in person if I purchase it online?
Unfortunately there is no possible way for me to guarantee that the colors displaying on your monitor are true to life. I can, however, assure you that I spend a great deal of time photographing my work so that what you see from home is as close to real life as possible. If you have questions about a specific piece you are interested in buying, I may be able to send you closeups or alternate shots. Just e-mail me and I'll see what I can do.
I love those rad frames you use. Where do you get them?
Hah! Wouldn’t you like to know? Actually, I design them myself and my handyman boyfriend cuts and sands them for me. I do not offer unfinished frames for personal use or crafting, and I hold all copyrights to the designs. Bummer.
I thought you said you were a painter, too? Where are all the paintings?
In the interest of keeping the site clean and uncluttered, I have not included my paintings and sketches here. You can, however, see them all in my Picasa and Flickr albums.
I’m interested in purchasing one of your paintings. How do I get my hands on it?
Well, you’ve got to pay for it before you can have it. Shoot me an e-mail and let me know which one you’re interested in, and we’ll figure out the best way to get it to you. After you pay, of course.

Do you offer discounts or give out coupons?
I do! I send out coupons every so often, when the mood strikes. Oh, and if you’re on the mailing list, you’re sure to receive word of special offers and storewide sales!
I have a coupon, but I don’t know how to use it!
Unfortunately there currently is no way to input a coupon code at checkout, both here on my website and on Etsy. You’ll have to enter the code in the "Special Instructions" or “Message to Seller” section and hold off on payment until I send you a revised invoice. If you’d like to use it on an offline purchase, just email me the coupon code and that discount will be reflected on the final selling price of the piece(s) you order.
I have more than one coupon. Can I combine them for a super-duper discount?
Nope, sorry!

Where can I learn more about you and moxiecupcake?
Check the about section, of course!
I’m looking to kill a few minutes. Do you have a blog?
I sure do! Feel free to stop by.
